Tata Nexon 2017 variants are now explained


Tata will launch its Nexon on September 21, 2017 and has already begun accepting bookings for the compact SUV.  The Nexon will be available with two engine options – a three-cylinder, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol making 110hp and 170Nm and a four-cylinder, 1.5-litre, turbo-diesel producing 110hp and 260Nm. Both engines are paired to a six-speed manual transmission that sends power to the front wheels.


Tata will offer the Nexon in four trim levels with both engine options, based on the leaked brochure, here’s a variant wise equipment breakup.

The Nexon will be available with a total of five exterior paint shade options – Moroccan blue, Vermont red, Seattle silver, Glasgow grey and Calgary white. Dealers have already begun accepting bookings for the SUV with deliveries being promised end of September or early October. The Nexon will take on the likes of the Vitara Brezz and the EcoSport and is likely to be priced in the range of Rs 7-10 lakh.
