Showcased initially in 2011, the Mahindra Mojo was launched in 2015. The Mahindra Mojo is the flagship product in Mahindra Two Wheelers’ range and received good response among biking aficionados in the country. It has ruled its space in the two wheeler segment where it is offered in three color options of glacier white, charcoal black, and volcano red.
Mahindra Mojo 300cc is positioned as a sports tourer and takes on Royal Enfield’s Thunderbird 350, KTM Duke 390 and Honda CBR250R in terms of competition. It gets several updates with a new front fascia, twin headlamps, digital speedometer and analogue tachometer with shift light. It also receives radial brakes, Pirelli Sport Demon tyres and USD forks. Daytime running lights, a well sculpted seat with a higher pillion seat for better back support to rider and a large 20 liter fuel tank are among its features.
It is also fitted with dual disc, floating caliper brakes measuring 320mm in front and 240mm at the rear and upside down forks. The disc brakes are highly responsive thus resulting in better overall performance. The Mahindra Mojo is fitted with 110/70 ZR 17 M/C 54W tyres in the front and 150/60 ZR17 M/C 66W tyres at the rear.
Mahindra Mojo measures 2,100 mm in length, 800mm in width and 1,165mm in height. It has dry weight of 165 kgs and ground clearance of 173mm
Powering the Mahindra Mojo is a 295cc, liquid cooled, 4 stroke, single cylinder engine offering 28 PS peak power at 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm peak torque at 5,000 rpm mated to a 6 speed transmission. Acceleration is efficient and cruising between 110 to 120 kmph is relaxed and comfortable. Top speed on the Mahindra Mojo is at 155 kmph and acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is possible in 9.5 seconds.
