2017 KTM RC 200 launched in India at INR 1.72 lakhs is seen in revised color scheme of white and black with orange graphics. It gets minor updates but remains at the top of the list in the entry level sports bike segment in the country.

Though revised for model year 2017, the KTM RC 200 sees no mechanical changes but gets minor upgrades in the form of 12mm extra padding on rider seat, larger wheel hubs and shorter alloy wheels all of which make riding more comfortable. Key features include a 100% digital LCD display, upside down forks, triple clamps, comfortable pillion ride seat and a brand new steel fuel tank of 9.5 liter capacity.
It also gets a well designed windshield for better rider protection, a slender tail adding to its racing looks and headlight with integrated blinkers and full LCD boomerang shaped DRLs. The bike gets clip on handlebars and steel trellis frame in orange enhancing its sporty appeal. Standard features include full digital speedometer, tachometer and trip meter with fuel indicator warning and fuel gauge.
KTM RC200 measures 1,978mm in length, 688mm in width and 834mm in height. It has ground clearance of 178mm and wheelbase measuring 1,340mm along with kerb weight of 137 kgs. It is powered by a 199.5cc, single cylinder F1, liquid cooled engine which is also seen powering the Duke 200. This engine is capable of 25 bhp power at 10,000 rpm and 19.5 Nm torque at 8,000 rpm mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. Top speed stands at 140 kmph while acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 9.3 seconds.
