KTM 250 Duke is the only 250cc Naked Bike with real racing genes. The 2017 Duke 250 is priced at INR 1.74 lakhs and though it was already on sale in global markets, it was recently brought to India to fill a void between the 200 and 390 cc range.

Noted to borrow distinctive styling cues from the 390, the Duke 200 gets a conventional looking headlamp with halogen bulb and integrated LED DRLs. It sits on new black wheels and gets several body graphics. It gets wider mirrors and soft seating and sits on new MRF Revz tyres instead of Metzelers. Standard features include digital speedometer and tachometer and digital tripmeter. It receives gear indicator and fuel warning and sits on 17” alloy wheels fitted with 110/70×17 front tyres and 150/60×17 rear tyres.
KTM Duke 250 measures 2,050mm in length, 730mm in width and 810mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,357mm and ground clearance of 185mm along with kerb weight of 149 kgs. The Duke 250 is positioned between the KTM Duke 200 and Duke 390.
It is powered by a new 248.8 cc, single cylinder, water cooled engine offering 31 bhp power at 9,000 rpm and 24 Nm torque at 7,250 rpm mated to a 6 speed transmission with slipper clutch. This engine allows acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.6 seconds and a top speed of 152 kmph.
The 250 Duke faces competition from Benelli TNT 25 and Mahindra Mojo.
